Felix was a stray feral kitten when he and his pal (brother?) Oscar wandered into the yard of one of our foster moms.  With a lot of patience and kindness, she succeeded in taming him to the point where he didn't mind being handled and petted.  He has spent the last few weeks indoors and seems to like it.  He is litter box trained.  Although he's still very shy and will tend to hide under the furniture, all he needs to become your best pal is a time, patience and kindness.

It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
