Oscar was a stray feral kitten when he and his pal (brother?) Felix wandered into the yard of one of our foster moms.  With a lot of patience and kindness, she succeeded in taming him to the point where he became really good company.  He has spent the last few weeks indoors and seems to like it.  He is litter box trained.  Although he's still rather shy and will tend to hide under the bed, all he needs to become your best pal is a little more patience and kindness.

It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
