About Timmi

  • Status: This animal is no longer shown on this website.
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: White
  • Color: Tabby
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Timmy and his sister were rescued by a very sweet young woman in Ivanhoe after a dog attached and killed their mother. They had a very small brother and sister who were unable to survive without their mother and died a few days later. Timmy does get stressed out around dogs and barking and if he were to go to a home with dogs they would have to be introduced very slowly especially under the circumstances of what happened to their mother.

Timmy is mostly white with the exception of a beautiful blue gray spot on the tip of his tail and another big irregular splash of blue gray on the top of his head. He has short coarse hair similar to a hunting dog. He is an oriental short hair mix with eyes that change from gold to green. He has a very long lean body with a long thin tail and long thin legs similar to a traditional Siamese cats build. He is extremely loving; likes to be held and petted, will sleep on the bed with you and is good about having his nails trimmed and having his fur brushed. He will talk to you and tell you all about his day. He likes to be near you and will stay close by you.

Timmy loves to sit and look out windows and watch the birds and butterflies fly by. He gets along well with other cats and kittens and loves to run and play and sleep with them. He likes a variety of toys, but his favorites right now are small toy mice balls that he can bat around and one in particular that he can carry around in his mouth. He likes both canned and dry food.

Timmy is negative for Aids’/Leukemia has had all his shots, has been wormed, and has been neutered. He does have a problem with his anal glands and they will have to be expressed by a Veterinarian from time to time he is otherwise very active and healthy.

We are adopting Timmy and his sister Tammy together due to their rough beginning and their attachment to each other. Timmy and Tammy are a year and three months old and have been in their foster home for a year and a two months. They are indoor only cats and are looking for a forever home together.

It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
