Alex is crate trained, housebroken and has basic obedience skills: sit, down, here, wait. He has been conditioned to trot nicely alongside a bicyclist. Also he has been used to pack extra water while helping pull a dog scooter with other dogs. Alex has huge sturdy paws and legs and actually enjoys working hard in this manner. He is up to 4 miles a day and could easily do more.

Alex is an eager to please, hard working boy. He enjoys human companionship and learns obedience readily. He is kept in an outdoor kennel 1/2 of the day to help tone down his separation anxiety. If left alone for longer periods, he is left with a sturdy chew toy or beef knuckle. He is doing real well with no significant problems and is ready for his forever home. If you’re looking for a dog that loves the outdoors and will hang by your side, this is your boy!
