|
This little girl is a Chihuahua mix. Her name is Sandy. She was found on the street with another dog who had been hit by a car. She loyally stood by him until she was picked up. After ads were placed and no one claimed her, she was placed in a foster home where she is living now.
She gets along with cats and loves to play with other dogs. She will growl at another dog if she is in your lap as she wants all the attention, but she will romp and play for hours with all other animals.
Sandy enjoys children and adults, gives lots of kisses, is very loyal, and likes to please you. She is very loving and wants to be with you all the time. At night she insists on lying next to you! Take a nap and she will join you any time of the day.
She is housebroken and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She prefers to be in the house, but if you aren’t home she will use a puppy pad. She is definitely an easy keeper and is happy to have good dry food and an occasional treat from your plate! She will eat anything you are eating! She loves car rides but wants to ride in your lap!!

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
Love of Animals will screen potential adoption parents to ensure the companion WILL NOT be a fighting dog.
