If you are interested, have questions, or to schedule a personal viewing for this companion only, please contact Ms. Laurie Jane Eberle, volunteer for Love of Animals, Visalia Division, Visalia, California, at 559-697-5070 or laurie@loveofanimals.org.
Biscuit and his brother came into the organization when the father of their family was diagnosed with cancer. Since the family did not know the outcome and had to make trips for treatment out of the area, they opted to rehome their boys. It did take them both several days to feel comfortable at the foster home with the foster mom allowing them to be where they wanted to feel secure. Part of this was due to the foster mom having 1 larger dog free roaming on the property and seeing the other smaller dogs barking at him joined in too. Now they have fully come out of their shell, they are playful and loves to be loved. Biscuit is very reserved when he decides to give any kisses.
As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
Love of Animals will screen potential adoption parents to ensure the companion WILL NOT be a fighting dog.
