|
Usher thinks he’s fierce, but he’s basically a big loving furball. We call him a rough tough cream puff. Loves to play and loves to snuggle. He’s very sociable and will make someone a fine purring lap cat.
Usher’s mother Kiki was a stray in a Tulare neighborhood. When Usher and his five brothers and sisters were three days old they were rescued and have been sharing a home with a Love of Animals board member ever since. They are strictly indoor kittens, have been handled gently and always been treated with love and respect. They get along with people, other cats and at least one small dog.
As with any new kitten, Usher should be kept in a nice quiet spot for at least a week or so to let him get accustomed to his new home, diet and litter pan.

It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
