Valcor is a mellow guy who really needs to be around his family all the time. Foster mom has noticed when she leaves, he will whine for a bit but will stop. He is free fed so he is use to eating when he wants to. To ensure he does not bully other dogs, foster mom has two food bowls so his food aggression has gone down. Foster mom also has a cat that has free range and does tell Valcor to leave her alone if she feels he is getting to close as his previous owner who has chickens found that he likes them a wee bit too much.

He is very loving and wants to be your lap dog. Loves to sleep on foster moms bed and can jump up on it all by himself. When foster mom is doing things around the house, Valcor can be found close to her.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
