My foster daddy Ed had been monitoring me when he was working because I was out and about. When he did not see me, his first place to go was to the shelter. Guess what, I was there! I had to wait the time to see if my owner would claim me but no such luck. So Ed came back and was allowed to get me. He's a kewl guy who loves me and my other foster companions. He wanted me to tell you that I am happy, loving, likes to cuddle, sit on his lap, obedient, and knows some commands. He did want to also let you know that when I get excited, I do piddle so careful when you first pick me up. Lastly, if you leave me indoors for long periods of time, I might have an accident.

Now let’s get to the point....you want me and I want you. So go tell one of the volunteers that we need to fill out some paperwork.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
