Checkers is the perfect family dog- she will be great with young kids and is very gentle. She hardly ever barks and she's the perfect size for traveling with the family. Checker's is a very smart and very active young dog. She needs a home with a lot of activity and people around her. She can be very creative when she is bored and wants to explore the 'outside' world so she either needs country property or a very secure large yard/and or kennel for when she has to be alone. Ideally - she would be great on a ranch with a job to do and a 4-wheeler to ride with you on!
