Please give Peanut time to fit into your life. She is still learning to be more social and is making wonderful progress by allowing others to hold her (even when I held her the first time, talked to her gently, she allowed me to clean her cage at PetSmart). She will do well in an all adult home that will allow her to open up more.
Peanut will give you miles of smiles when she plays fetch with furry mice. She does have a prim donna side as she loves to have you brush her hair when you brush yours. When not going on adventures, she loves to watch birds from the widows.
It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
