About Carmine

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Brown Tabby
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Carmine and his brothers Vinnie and Sal were rescued from the parking lot of a CVS pharmacy, so it was decided they should be given names starting with the letters C, V and S.  All manner of cute names were considered, until one of the boys took a chunk out of his foster mom's thumb, bit a technician at the Vet's, and had to be sedated before being examined.  It then became obvious the guys had mob connections and the names we chose reflected this fact (no offense intended to all good law-abiding Italian-Americans).

Vinnie is slowly becoming civilized, but Carmine and Sal quickly learned to like being petted and cuddled and became lovable little lap cats.  Sal has been adopted and now it's Carmine's turn to get his forever home.  He's a sweet and loving little guy and will be a wonderful companion.

As with any new kitten, Carmine should be kept isolated from other household pets for at least a week or so to let him get accustomed to his new home, diet and litter pan.

Adoption fee $40.00

It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
