Maui was captured in a trap and went through quite an ordeal when she was in the trap that was covered in mud and nearly destroyed. She had injuries to two paws and her tail.  Fortunately, she was a strong girl and recovered quickly. The only lasting damage appears to be with one of her toes on one foot.  She is getting more and more comfortable living in a house around humans.  She would like a home where the humans will understand that she needs a little more time than a typical cat to feel safe and secure.  Once she feels comfortable, though, she loves to play with her human friends and will even sit in your lap!  She is up to date on her shots, and will be spayed in February.  She would love to be your new kitty!
