If you are interested, have questions, or to schedule a personal viewing for this companion only, please contact Ms. Laurie Jane Eberle, volunteer for Love of Animals, Visalia Division, Visalia, California, at 559-799-3937 or LOAVisaliaDiv@aol.com.
Carmelita has been through a lot in such a short time. She was found as a stray and pregnant. After logged into VOSPCA, she was taken to a local veterinarian where she underwent a c-section. Unfortunately all the puppies were lost but she survived. She was then taken back to the shelter where she was not very nice to the attendants and was given the name piranha.
Foster mom got the call to see if she could pick her up and hold her since her time was up and she was going to be euthanized. Once she was out of the kennel and wrapped in a blanket, her whole outlook changed. She is a very sweet loving yet timid lady. Foster mom laid down to take a nap and Carmelita curled up in her arms and slept with her. Ever since then Carmelita has been a wonderful young lady who is taking life very cautiously.
As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
Spayed: Records will be released to new family from Vets office.
Rabies: 12/17/2010
DHLPP: Was given at VOSPCA when logged in. See yellow paper for labels.
