Pearl is a very funny little lady who is very curious about what is going on. She loves to play with her canine companions both indoors and outdoors. She knows how to use a doggy door and is good about using it. She sleeps in the kitchen with her other foster companions on pet beds under the kitchen table (we rarely use it and it serves to keep the beds in place between the chair legs).

Update: 09/21/2011

Adoption Coordinator received a call from VOSPCA that they had a canine turned over to them due to the family having to move and could not take "Roxy" with them (adopted family changed her name from Pearl to Roxy). Lucky for Pearl the adoption coordinator was able to pull up her original foster and found out it was her. In less than 2 hours Pearl was back in her original foster home where there were other canines that she was familiar with. Pearl fit right back in and is again seeking a forever home.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
