Dexter is a unique little guy. When his foster dad saw him shivering in the corner of the kennel at the shelter he decided to give him a chance. When another foster parent took Dexter to get an updated rabies shot, her family fell in love with him and decided to take him into their home for fostering since they are at home more of the time.

Dexter really blossomed since his new placement.  He loves to have his back/butt scratched and will turn his body to have you do it when he trusts you.  He has also lost some weight since he has more smaller canine companions to play with and gets along very well with most (okay, don't try to take his bed space and if in dad's lap he will not let others on it easily).

Dexter would do fine in a home with another companion but would do even better with a family with no smaller children.  He just loves attention!!!
