About Missie Mi | |

Missie Mi is a playful, loving, sweet, puppy. Gets along well with the other fosters in the house. Is housed with cats but really does not pay much attention to them.
Sleeps with one of the foster caregivers and now does very well. Had a accident or two at the beginning, now uses the dog door to do her business. May use a potty pad too as she used them for a time.
During the day, she spends most of her time lounging on a bed in one of the bedrooms. She can see out the window and will only bark if she see someone coming to the door. Then she joins the others in barking. Does settle down from barking rather fast. Foster mom uses a spray bottle with water as a deterant.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
Love of Animals will screen potential adoption parents to ensure the companion WILL NOT be a fighting dog.
