Penny and her sibling Cash were pulled out of a kill-shelter when they were just @ 6 wks old. Penny was adopted for 3 weeks and her new owners discovered that she is deaf- we had no idea during her months of foster care; her other senses are so highly developed that when she is with another dog she functions at their level. Penny was returned because the adopters didn't want to take the time to work with her special needs.

We believe that her perfect home would be with children over 10 (we don't want a little kid to startle her!), patient adults and another dog for her to learn from. Her temperament is exceptional and her very favorite thing is the kiddy pool! Penny is very smart and will learn hand signals quickly for anyone that has the time and interest in training her. We will also require a very secure yard.
