About Oreo | |
|
Ms. Oreo is a shy, timid young lady. She is part of a litter of 5 who came with their mother. All her other siblings have been adopted so it is her time now.
In her current foster home, she is with othe canine companions. There are felines, but it is a hit and miss as far as interacting. It takes her time to warm up. Once she feels safe, the playful side comes out. You will need to make sure you have items for her to chew on as she is teething.
As far as potty training, she does go outside with the othe canines. We did try potty pads but with more then one to train, they were tearing them up. So completing the training should be easy. Was also introduced to a create to sleep in at night. Now since she is the only one, she gets to run with all the other companions.
If you would like to schedule a meet-n-greet, please call or text Laurie at (559) 799-3937. She will work as a liasion between the public and foster homes.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
Love of Animals will screen potential adoption parents to ensure the companion WILL NOT be a fighting dog.
