"Moose" and his 5 siblings came into our organization after the passing of their mother and other siblings. All of them needed to be bottle fed if they were to survive. We were able to place them in a home that the foster mom and a family member nurtured them until they were self sufficient.
As the weeks went by, they grew and developed more. This litter has different fathers that produced various coat colors and body composures. Bentley a male sibling looks like a Husky but the body of a Corgi. Moose (male) has the same body type but sports a completely different coat color. Then there is Ninja (male) who is almost all black with a white stripe on his chest and the tips of his toes.
Only two of them sport the same body and coat coloring. That is Mr. Miyagi (male - adopted) and Dot-Dot-Dash. Both have the white w/black except Mr. Miyagi has some small brown accents.
The remaining puppies are now looking for their forever homes. There needs to be a understanding that as time passes and develop more, we may have "guessed" correctly about the breed or got darn close. DNA testing is truly an option for more defined answers of the breeds.
If you would like to schedule a meet-n-greet, please call or text Laurie at (559) 799-3937. She will work as a liaison between the public and foster homes.
As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
Love of Animals will screen potential adoption parents to ensure the companion WILL NOT be a fighting dog.
