About Saint

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: Black w/Brown Brindle & White
  • Current Age: 5 Years (best estimate)
  • Housetrained: Yes

Saint came into our organization with his 4 other male siblings as a owner surrender. They spent the first weeks of their lives indoors with very little contact other then with each other. When the foster mom stepped in, this was the beginning of a lot of firsts.

They got to play outdoor for the first time. A bit shy at first but with the foster caretakers, they started to bloom over the first few days. So if you go outdoors, what is on the ground? Grass! It was the first time walking on grass.

They got their 2 sets of vaccines and got to go to their first adoption site the weekend before they were scheduled to get neutered. During that weekend, two of the litter mates were reserved. After they got neutered, The remaining 3 brothers came out to another adoption site.

Over the next couple of weeks the last 3 were adopted. Then the foster mom got a call that Saint was just not happy at their home and would like to return him. Arrangements were made and Saint came back.

He was brought back to his original foster home. They watched his actions and found that nothing stood out other then he was still a bit shy at the beginning as there was a couple of new foster companioins. So Saint is back to look for a new family to call his own.

If you would like to schedule a meet-n-greet, please feel free to call or text Laurie at 559-799-3937.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.

Love of Animals will screen potential adoption parents to ensure the companion WILL NOT be a fighting dog.
