Jack and his sister Jill were walking down the main street of Farmersville. The people who found them called us to see if we could take them. There luckily was an opening in his foster home for both. Jack has the features of a Wire Hair Terrier with the body length of a Dachshund. His sister has the featured of a Chihuahua with the body length of a Dachshund. Our guess....mom was into free love.
Attempts were made to find the owner by placing a found ad in the newspaper, postings on CraigsList, NextDoor and our Facebook page. Not one person contacted us so they started their journey with us. All services are done with the exception of the final vaccine (will be given when due). They are now ready for their forever home(s).
Jack is very outgoing which is the oposite of his sister who is reserved. He loves to be held and played with. There is a cat that has house privledges that she has learned to respect.
Is more hits then misses with potty pads but is leary of a dog door. She like to go out and play in the sun with her brother and Hubble. Comes back in when she gets thirsty or tired. He does travel well in a create. Have not let him free range in a vehicle.
As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
Love of Animals will screen potential adoption parents to ensure the companion WILL NOT be a fighting dog.
