Bernard is a happy guy who loves to see what you are doing. He follows his foster mom around the house and yard. Is housed with several other canine companions and a few felines. Bernard does have a tendency to growl when he feels things are not fair. Doesn't fight and will stop with telling him "no".

He chooses where he likes to sleep and nap at. Some days on his mom's bed, other times on the beds in the front room. Goes out side via a dog door and have no issues with marking. Bernard needs to be kept on grain free food and current with flea treatments or he will lose the hair on back near tail. August 2015 he was taken to the vet for a complete dental. His age was at least 8 years old. 

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
