Bertrille was found by a foster family in the Porterville area who took care of her until she was ready to be spayed. During her stay there, she was taken to the vet for a check up and the vet noticed the flea infestation. Was not sure of how bad it was, her fur was shaven down for a closer look. They cleaned her up and applied revolution along with deworming her. Since the adoption coordinator thought the distance to travel was a bit too much, she took Bertrille in instead of sending her back to the other home.

Bertrille is a little shy but will warm up fast. She loves to play and take adventures. Her fur is still short where shaven but is growing back. She is in an outdoor cattery with a couple of other cats and gets along well with them. She also is around dogs but not interacting with them (the dogs pay the cats no real attention). It is now time for Bertrille to take a new endeavor with a furever family. Could you be them?

It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
