Cassidy is a sibling to a litter of pups in shich the foster mom had when they were young.  Due to a virus call Coccidia, 5 of the 8 puppies in the litter did not make it.  Cassidy, and her 2 brothers did (Butch & Sundance).

Cassidy was adopted out after she passed her health inspection and tested 3 times to ensure the virus was gone.  Unfortunately the adopting family had to return her about 2 years later (we open our hearts and homes and never want to see any of our adopted companions go back to a shelter) and her original foster mom was happy to open her house and take her back.

Cassidy is a funn loving lady who sometime will favor her back leg.  We have checked it out and there is nothing wrong with it.  She runs and plays with all of her canine companions, and even lets the smaller ones walk all over her.  Cassidy like to be where her foster mom is at.  If foster mom is in the kitchen, you will find Cassidy there laying and watching (sometimes right under foot too).  At night she either sleeps in foster mom's foster son's bed or on a big dog pillow in the front room.

Cassidy really needs a family who wants a companion that will go places and act silly.  She has been a blessing in her foster home and would love to be a blessing in your home too.
