Salt came from Strathmore where he was abandoned and roaming for a few months. Foster mom had gotten a new foster son whose parent lives in Strathmore and was concerned about him and another dog who where roaming together.

Foster mom sent a kennel during a weekend visit and asked for foster son to try to get the two dogs. Unfortunately only one was found and no trace of the other one.

Foster mom took him to the vets the next day and had him observed, neutered, and rabies done since he was full of fleas and small stickers. She asked the vet to at least remove some of the fur since it was so ratted and the stickers were hurting Salt. Salt came back home and although he looked funny with a funky haircut, he was bouncing off the walls.

Salt has had a ruff time but has forgiven the world for mistakes made with him. He has been one of the best foster dogs a foster mom could ask for.

Salt loves to run and play outdoors but sleeps indoors in a create which he has yet to make a mess in.
