Martin is a sweet puppy! He came from a home in Visalia that had 40 dogs. Along with him, 4 other puppies and 3 adult dogs were rescued on that day. Although all we in good health, none had received vaccinations or spay/neutering.

His type of Chihuahua is known as a Deer Chihuahua. Very quick when running and a squirmy brat when held.....unless he wants to be held. Has learned to use a potty pad and dog door. Part of the night he does spend in a create with another foster Mini Me from the same house with 40. When he is out, he is attached to Tom his foster pa-pa sleeping under the covers or following around when he is outside.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
